On the trails in 3 easy steps

The waiting period is finally over: the snowmobile season has just started! If you didn't get your trail permit already, here's how to obtain it in 3 easy steps. You'll see, it's easy as 1, 2, 3!

Now, let us show you how easy it is to get on the trails. Follow these three simple steps, and you’re good to go!

1. Get the permit that is right for you

The New Brunswick Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (NBFSC) provides you with different permit options depending on whether your family accompanies you, the type of snowmobile you drive, the duration of your trip, and the frequency at which you’ll come and explore our wonderful trails.

Did you know that the most requested permits are now available online?

Click here for all relevant details about permits and more.

Free trail permits: From February 21 to February 23, 2020, it will be Tourism Weekend in New Brunswick, which means all visitors from Quebec, Nova Scotia, PEI, Ontario and the New England States will be able to acquire a special no charge permit for the duration of the event. Get more information here.

2. Find yourself a cosy nest

We sorted it all out for you and made a list of our top-class hotels which also includes their contact information and their on-site accommodations made available to their snowmobiler guests.

We’ve only included locations where we know you’ll feel relaxed and right at home. See our list covering all four regions of the Northern Odyssey right here. Make sure to book early!

3. Get all set up with trail updates and the interactive map

Yes, everything is getting digital now: even on snowmobile planet! Click here to access the NBFSC’s interactive map or download the app from the App Store.

This way, you’ll get all the most current information about our trails, plus mapping your Northern Odyssey routes will never have been easier!
